The President of the State and the Serbian president stresses the importance of intensifying efforts to restore security and stability in the region

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Alexander Fuzic, discussed today, various aspects of cooperation and joint work between the two countries and their development opportunities to serve their mutual interests, especially economic, investment and development fields, renewable energy, food security and other vital sectors that promote the acceleration of development and prosperity in the two countries..and in the context of the comprehensive strategic partnership that which is The UAE and Serbia gathered.

This came during the reception of His Highness at the Palace of Al -Watan in Abu Dhabi, Alexander Foticic, who is on a work visit to the state, where His Highness welcomed the Serbian President, looking forward to his visit to advance the path of developing bilateral relations.

The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern, foremost of which are the developments taking place in the Middle East region .. Emphasizing in this context the importance of intensifying efforts to restore security and stability in the region and adopt dialogue and diplomatic means in addressing disputes and crises … besides work to support peace, stability and development efforts at the regional and global levels.

At the end of their meeting, the two sides affirmed the joint keenness to continue to work to develop the prospects for Emirati -Serbian relations and build sustainable economic partnerships that serve the priorities of development and meet the aspirations of the two countries in the framework of their endeavor to achieve the goals of the comprehensive economic partnership agreement between them, which entered into force during the month of May 2025 in increasing the volume of trade and enhancing the national economy of the two countries.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary -General of the Supreme Council for National Security, Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State, Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President of the State for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, and Ahmed Al Menhali, Ambassador of State to Serbia, “Eagle Hills” next to the delegation accompanying the Serbian President.
The Serbian President arrived last night to the UAE for a working visit.
