Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities participates in the Beijing Book Fair
Beijing, June 18 / WAM / Mohammed bin Zayed University of Humanities will participate at the Beijing International Book Fair in China, which will be held from 18 to 22 June.
This participation comes within the framework of the university’s keenness on the active presence in cultural and literary events at the regional and international levels, and within its strategic vision aimed at providing the global cultural scene by producing research and scientific and academic studies, and its intellectual authors in the field of humanities, in addition to its participation in scientific conferences and organizing various knowledge events.
The university participates through its own pavilion in the unified platform of the state, “the Emirati House”, within the framework of the national efforts to enhance cultural and scientific exchange with various countries of the world.
During the exhibition days, the university displays a wide list of its publications, which includes 41 issues of books, references and research, which are the outcome of its efforts in the field of scientific studies, conferences and academic messages issued by the university, as the university participates in providing a number of lectures during the exhibition, including the axes of the establishment of the Arabic language and its relationship to other languages, and Sheikh Zayed’s legacy: from establishment to leadership, civilization between China and Arabs, the Emirati vision of tolerance Coexistence, language is the bridge of Arab civilizations in China and its role in the Arab-Chinese dialogue, and finally the Arabic language in China: reality, challenge and future prospects.
Through its participation in the exhibition, Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities seeks to enhance its academic and cultural partnerships and build new cooperation relations with Chinese universities and academic institutions, exchange information and resources in the field of libraries, and to promote the university’s academic programs and opportunities for study and enroll in their scientific courses, in addition to highlighting the role of libraries in supporting Emirati identity by spreading research and studies related to national identity Emirati, and display books and sources that are concerned with the history and culture of the country.
His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Director of the University stressed that participation in the Beijing International Book Fair comes in order to enhance the strong cultural relations between Abu Dhabi and Beijing, and to document the role played by the University of Mohammed bin Zayed for Humanities in cultural and literary forums, and support its position as a global scientific institution in the field of spreading human knowledge.
He said that the university seeks to be more present and effective in the global cultural scene, and provided it with an abundant ammunition than the literary, cultural, scientific and academic product.
He stressed that the University of Mohammed bin Zayed for Humanities aims, through its participation in such exhibitions, to present its scientific messages and academic publications in various fields of humanities, as well as an excessive knowledge outcome of the stock of conferences organized by the university within its constant endeavor to enhance aspects of publishing and scientific research and harnessing it to serve humanity.
