The Mohammed bin Hamad Al -Sharqi Council discusses the role of volunteering in consolidating societal cohesion

Fujairah on June 19/ WAM/ The Mohammed bin Hamad Al -Sharqi Council organized a dialogue session entitled “Volunteering is a societal responsibility: a tender that enlightens the future”, in the Massafi Council in Fujairah.

The session was hosted by His Excellency Youssef Al -Marshoudi, Director General of the Fujairah Charitable Society, who presented an integrated vision on the concept of volunteer work, pointing to his pivotal role in promoting societal cohesion and consolidating the culture of giving and initiative among members of society.

The session dealt with a number of basic axes, most notably: the types of volunteer work, its contribution to the development of societies, and the challenges that hinder its sustainability, while emphasizing the importance of the integration of roles between institutions and volunteers to achieve an effective and sustainable impact.

The session witnessed a remarkable interaction from the audience, an exciting exchange of ideas and proposals on ways to enhance the culture of volunteering, and mechanisms to motivate individuals to engage in societal initiatives with a positive impact.

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Naea Al Tunaiji, Director of the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Council, stressed that this session comes within a series of knowledge meetings organized by the Council, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, with the aim of keeping pace with important societal issues, spreading awareness and consolidating positive values ​​among members of society.

The session was attended by a number of the people of the region and the youth interested.
