A remarkable moment between Meloni and Macron ignites “communication” sites

The cameras’ lenses monitored a remarkable moment of the Italian Prime Minister, Georgia Meloni, as she runs her eyes in a strange way, after the French President, Emmanuel Macron, whispered with a speech during a side conversation between them at the table of the Group of Seven Countries Summit, last Monday, but this moment quickly spread like wildfire on social media.

The leaders of countries with the world’s stronger economies, in Canada, met for two days to discuss central issues, most notably trade, security, and technology, in addition to developments in the Middle East.

Among the attendees was Macron and Meloni, who sat next to each other in a remarkable scene, given the previously strained relations between Paris and Rome.

During an interview with US President Donald Trump, Macron approached Meloni and whispered to her with something, to respond to him by raising her thumb.

Moments later, Macron re -tried, but Meloni seemed unintended, as she covered her face and turned her eyes in a way that insisted on indifference or even ridicule his speech.

The content of what Macron said was not known, nor commented on the incident.

This snapshot spread on the media very quickly, and commented that she praised Meloni and praised her face. One of them wrote: “Meloni does not hide its contempt for the global elite, a wonderful beginning of the summit.” Another commented: “Urgent from the summit of the wealthy group of seven .. This is the moment when President Macron told the Italian government’s head of Meloni, something about Trump, where Meloni’s face explained everything about the situation, and the situation does not need more clarification.”

A third wrote: “Her reaction was as if she said: What is this man talking?”, While a fourth sarcastically said: “Whatever Macron said, Meloni’s expression was very funny,” and a fifth user agreed that “Meloni’s reaction was very funny.”

In a related context, President Trump suddenly left the summit, a day before its conclusion, pointing to the escalation of tension between Israel and Iran as an urgent reason.

“I must come back quickly,” Trump told reporters, and later added to his platform “Truth Suosal” that his departure has nothing to do with a ceasefire, in contradiction with Macron’s statement, who confirmed that Trump put forward a ceasefire initiative, and the White House, last Monday, announced that President Trump would leave the Group of Seven summit, and returns to Washington at night.

White House spokeswoman, Caroline Levitte, said Trump cut off his summit in Canada because of “what is happening in the Middle East.”

After leaving Trump, the Group of Seven issued a joint statement, calling for “calm in the Middle East, including the ceasefire in Gaza.”

Despite the media momentum and exciting shots, the summit seemed not concrete results, so that the scenes of personal interaction between the leaders, such as Meloni’s moment, remained the most prominent title of this global event. On the “NTV World” website
