"Interior" An attempt to promote narcotic disks in the country is frustrated
Abu Dhabi, June 20 / WAM / The anti -drug devices in the Ministry of Interior managed to carry out a qualitative process, which thwarted a criminal attempt to promote narcotic pills inside the country; Field anti -drug teams monitored a suspicious activity of two people of Arab nationality, and investigations confirmed their association with an international network of drug smuggling and promotion.
The competent security services, based on the secret information obtained by the work team, were able to raid two sites, one of which is to store narcotic tablets while the defendants discharge and prepare them to promote inside the country, while in the other they seized a mechanical building (digger) that was used as a baker for another amount.
The defendants acknowledged that they had partners who prepared the shipment and smuggled it from the city of Hamburg to one of the state’s ports, where one of them came to the state with a visa for a visit specifically to complete this task, and that the mastermind of the network resides outside the state, and he is the one who finances and managed the entire process.
An official source in the Ministry of Interior stressed the importance of international cooperation in the field of drug control to prevent international criminal networks from carrying out their cross -border activity, and that the relevant departments will continue investigations to control the accused outside the state, in cooperation with the counterpart international agencies.
