Under the patronage of Mansour bin Zayed .. "Cyber Security Council" The winners of the Excellence Awards are announced
Abu Dhabi, June 20/ WAM/ Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and head of the Presidency Bureau .. The Cyber Security Council for the UAE government announced the winners of the first national program of its kind for appreciation prizes for cybersecurity “Cyber Excellence Awards”.
This came during the award ceremony, which was held yesterday in Space 42 Arena in Abu Dhabi to honor the winners, in the presence of a number of ministers and officials from government and private agencies.
The prizes included 5 different classifications, including 50 awards between individual prizes and prizes dedicated to the government sector and others for the private sector in addition to the prizes designated for academic excellence in cybersecurity and prizes for emerging companies in the same field.
His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Al -Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersonial Security for the government of the United Arab Emirates, stressed the importance of this initiative, noting that the announcement of the winners of the Excellence Awards in Cyber Security is a continuation of the continuous efforts to encourage talents to develop innovative digital solutions that contribute to facing emerging and sophisticated cyber threats.
He said: “It is by honoring excellence and innovation at the level of individuals and institutions, we not only celebrate our accomplishments, but we also inspire the next generation of cybersecurity experts to push the limits of what is possible in the field of digital security.”
His Excellency Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Adviser to His Highness the President of the State, Supreme President of the Emirates University won the award for the best educational security program for Cyber Security for the year 2025.
His Excellency Rashid Saeed Al -Amri, Advisor to the Office of the President of the State for Strategic Affairs at the Presidential Bureau, won the Best Information Security official award for 2025.
His Excellency Ohood Bint Khalfan Al -Roumi, Minister of State for Governmental Development and the Future, won the award for the best woman in the field of cybersecurity for the year 2025.
In the government sector awards, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Finance won the awards of compliance in cybersecurity, while the Cyber Policy Development Award went to His Excellency the Counselor Dr. Hamad Saif Al -Shamsi, the public prosecutor of the Federation and His Excellency Muhammad Abdullah Al -Junaibi, Chairman of the Federal Authority for Protocol and Strategic Square.
Sharjah Police and the Health Department won the award for the best gap reward program, while the Ministry of Defense and the intelligence signal received the Best Cyber Security Team award.
He won the award for best use of artificial intelligence and automatic learning in cybersecurity in this category, the unified digital platform.
In the classification of digital government prizes, the Government Empowerment Department won the Smart Integration Award, while the Ajman digital government won the safe digital transformation award.
The e -government in Ras Al Khaimah won the Innovation Award in Regional Flexibility, the Fujairah Government and the Geographical Information Systems Center in Fujairah won the Government Cloud Security Award.
In the government and private sector category, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, the Digital Government (TDRA) and the Federal Nuclear Control Authority (FANR) won the Best Accident Response Award.
The Best Cyber Security Team won the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and Cisco, and won the award for the best training program for cyber security by Abu Dhabi Police and Sans.
As for “& E”, she won the innovation award in cyber technology, and Crowdstrike won the Excellence Award in the face of cyber threats.
He won the award for best use of artificial intelligence and automatic learning in cybersecurity in this Microsoft (Copilot) category, and the Emirates Banking Federation and the General Authority of Civil Aviation received the award for best implementation of a strategy in cybersecurity.
The Emirates Central Bank won the Cyber Security Engineering Award, while the TII Technology Innovation Institute and the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies will participate in the Research Excellence Award.
The Best Cyber Project was won by AWS, Google, Lockheed Martin, and Stratosphire, while Mandriat won the Best Cyber Silk Award, while Palo Alto Networks, and the Government Empowerment Department won the Best Awareness Program.
In the category of academic awards, Khalifa University and Higher Technology Faculties won the Cyber Security Curriculum Innovation Award and Politokink Abu Dhabi won the Best Awareness Initiative Award.
In cyber education, the Yas Joint Schools, the Bahia Educational Complex and the Zayed Educational Complex in each of the cities of “Al -Zai, Dibba Al -Fujairah and Muhammad bin Zayed” won the 2025 Rising Academic Star Award.
In the category of startups, Spidesilk won the title of Best Emerging Company in Cyber Security, EXordium with an innovative solution award, and Cyberhero with a cybersecurity award, and CTF.AE and Exploit3rs won the Community Participation Award.
As for Frontierzero, she won the rising star award in cybersecurity, Cypherleak won the title of artificial intelligence -backed safety pioneer, and Starcsec won the Zero Trust Safety Model Award.
He won the classification of individual awards, Mohamed Al -Harbousi, the Best Emirati Award in the field of cybersecurity for the year, while Muhammad Al -Shamsi won the cybersecurity prize for this year, while Abdullah Al -Sairi was honored with the Cyber Entrepreneur Award for the year 2025, while Fatima Al Hammadi won the Ministry of Education the Cyber Security Star Prize in the government sector.
As for the life achievement award in cybersecurity, I went to Ahmed Al -Zarouni, and Dr. Luigi Martino won the title of cyberspace teacher for this year.
Radwa Al -Dhaheri won the Excellence Award in Cyber Research, while Fatima Al -Mansouri won the title of rising star in cybersecurity.
