Ajman .. After Friday and 7 hours of hours for the rest of the week

Today, the Executive Council of the Ajman government approved the time of Friday 100%, and reduce daily working hours to 7 hours from Monday to Thursday during the summer period.
In detail, the Executive Council of the Emirate of Ajman approved in today’s meeting in the government of the government bodies at the Emiri Diwan headed by His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Council, the initiative of “Our Summer Balanced” in the Ajman government in order to enhance the balance between job and social life, and in support of the quality of the lives of employees during the summer months and enhance family communication, in harmony with general initiatives with general initiatives the society.
The initiative requires the application of the work system remotely on Friday by 100%, during the period from 1 July to August 22, 2025, and reduce daily working hours to 7 instead of 8 from Monday to Thursday, specifically from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, while ensuring the continued provision of vital services through a flexible internal organization in government agencies.

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi stressed that the Ajman government, led and directed by His Highness Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al -Nuaimi, member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ajman, pays great attention to providing a flexible and stimulating work environment that takes into account the employees’ practical and social needs.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman pointed out that the stability of the family and social employee is a basic pillar in the development of the emirate, stressing that His Highness is that the well -being of man remains a permanent priority, because it is the main and most important factor in raising the efficiency of institutions and enhancing the quality of government performance.
His Highness added, “We seek through our balanced summer initiative to enhance environmental sustainability, by reducing daily mobility emissions, in line with the goals of Ajman 2030 vision to build a more balanced and sustainable society.”
The Human Resources Department, in coordination with the General Secretariat of the Executive Council, is following up the implementation of the initiative, developing organizational models, and submitting an evaluation report by the end of September 2025 on the impact on performance and the satisfaction of employees and society.
The “balanced summer” initiative embodies the attention of the Ajman government of its employees’ comfort, by providing a flexible work environment between personal and professional life, and contributes to achieving better productivity and greater happiness.
