المملكة: 113 centers targeted for technical examination .. and 42 currently operating in various regions of the Kingdom


The Saudi Authority for Standards, Metrology and Quality announced a remarkable expansion in the number of periodic technical examination centers for vehicles, revealing the operation of the 42nd Center in the Kingdom, in the Al -Manar neighborhood, east of Riyadh. The Authority is that operating the new center comes as an extension of its efforts in supporting the infrastructure for periodic technical examination, by granting more licenses to private sector companies, and raising the operational energy of the centers network, to meet the increasing demand and improves the experience of beneficiaries, and contributes to reducing waiting time and distributing centers more balanced at the city level. New centers in studied sites covering all regions of the Kingdom, in response to population growth and the high number of vehicles, stressing that these efforts come in the context of targeting the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, aimed at raising safety levels and reducing accidents, and achieving the quality of life for citizens and residents. A center, followed by the Makkah Al -Mukarramah region with 7 centers, then the eastern region with 5 centers, while the Qassim region embraces 4 centers. The Madinah and Abha city regions include 3 centers each. The authority indicates that these centers are subject to the highest standards of quality and technical efficiency, and are managed by advanced electronic systems that allow the service to be provided quickly and accurately, to keep pace with the comprehensive digital transformation in transportation and technical examination services.
