Dubai is among the most demanding markets on hotel residences during June

Data issued by the company “Amadeus”, which specializes in the services and solutions of tourism and travel technology, showed that Dubai has been in the list of 10 most markets on hotel accommodation around the world, during June.
According to the company’s data, the list included eight destinations in America, along with Dubai and Singapore outside the American market, and “Amadeus” indicated that it has identified the classifications through a special registration algorithm, including the occupancy rate, the registered future demand, and the time of residence, as well as the performance of the areas using grouped data.
According to the data, the demand index on the hotel market in Dubai has exceeded the performance in the Middle East region to lead the destinations of the region, based on the collected data on the eighth of June, noting that the average occupancy in the emirate’s hotels exceeded the 80% barrier in the second week of June.
The data showed that the seventh of June 2025 recorded the highest rate, as it reached 87%, followed by the sixth of June by 83%, noting that the general occupancy rate exceeded the most prominent destinations around the world based on the data until the end of the first week of June.
This data comes after the average hotel occupancy in all facilities operating in Dubai recorded 82.9% during the period between January and May 2025, compared to 81% in the same period in 2024, recording a strong growth rate, despite the significant increase in the number of hotel rooms compared to last year levels, and at an average of 3000 hotel rooms.
It is noteworthy that the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai revealed the latest statistics on the performance of the tourism sector and the number of international visitors, as it showed the emirate’s success in attracting 8.68 million international tourists during the first five months of this year, compared to 8.12 million tourists in the same period last year, with a growth of about 7%.
