Riyadh on June 28 / WAM / The tall mountains have always witnessed times, civilizations and nations, and on their walls, the messages were written, the inscriptions were drawn and the facts were written to remain what the human remains, and from its slopes the age of man is his land and from him he was inspired by his unimaginable power.

In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the towering mountain range of Tuwaiq, which has been associated with the mission of the Saudi man, extends, and this series extends in the middle of Najd for a distance exceeding 800 km, and is considered one of the most prominent geographical monuments in the Arabian Peninsula.

The Tuwaiq Mountains start from the sands of Al -Thuwairat north of Al -Zulfi Governorate, and head south until the end of it disappears in the desert of the Empty Quarter, to reach a distance of nearly a thousand kilometers, and surrounded by the green Al -Yamamah, including palm trees, cultivation, cities and villages, as well as dozens of large valleys.

This series takes an arc or “collar” shape that surrounds a vast area, and can be seen from outer space, and its sharp peaks are distinguished by the embodiment of the meanings of strength, dignity, and stability.

The eastern slopes of the Tuwaiq Mountain series gradually descend, unlike the western side that suddenly cut off, and on its eastern side, several valleys are the most famous of Wadi Hanifa, which is located on its banks, the city of Riyadh, as well Al -Hamdani, Al -Bakri, Al -Isfahani, Al -Hamwi, Al -Balheed, Al -Jasser and Ibn Khamis, and most of the city of the south and center of the center of we found historically about “Jabal Tuwaiq” and on the valleys that are located on its sides since the pre -Islamic era, and the mountain is historically called “Jabal Al -Awda” or “Al -Yamamah”. Al -Muzahmiyyah, Al -Diriyah, Al -Qayaina, Al -Jubaila, Sadous, and others because of it, as it constitutes Jabal Tuwaiq, a barrier between the villages of Sudair from the east and the villages of the tattoo from the west, and the Al -Bateen Valley occupies the western part of the Tuwaiq Al -Shamkha series.
One of the most descriptions of this most shaming mountain is the saying of the pre -Islamic poet Amr bin Kulthum (so the Yamamah was offered and detected, as Asaf in the hands of our obstacles), and he followed him in the modern era, a poet and historian of Al -Yamamah, Sheikh Abdullah bin Khamis, in his saying (Oh, with the pride of the pride, would you have been in the time of the time, a young man, and you are a young man, and you are a young man.
And some of them called the bidder, as we mentioned above, to object to the saying of the poet (and almost my passion for what I sang, I fold you with Tihama and the exhibition), and others said about him “Tuwaiq”, it is a mountain (Al -Yamamah, the opponent and a hooking), one of them says (even if the heart of Tuwaiq has erased his secret, no longer is what he recovered from it).
From Khashoum Tuwaiq Al -Shamekha, his extended lengths and giants, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, the Saudi Prime Minister, discovered his famous saying (The Saudi Arabia’s vigor like Jabal Tuwaiq), and it was the most stimulating description to raise morale and sharpen the youth, and future generations in the modern time; To inspire power from the geographical environment of man and link him to his historical roots that he cherishes.
One of the largest promising projects of the country within the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision is the “Al -Qudayya” city project, which is the first projects of Al -Qudayya Investment Company based on entertainment, sports and culture, and the project sits on the middle of the “Tuwaiq Mountains” series, and it is about 45 kilometers from the capital, Riyadh His Highness, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, that the qualitative investment in the city of “Al -Qaddiya” is one of the pillars of the “Kingdom’s Vision 2030”, which aims to diversify the sources of the local economy income, indicating that the city will become in the near future the most prominent world in the field of entertainment, sports and culture.

The “Al -Qudayya City” project aims to diversify the Kingdom’s economy and employ ambitious Saudi youth, as the city seeks to contribute 135 billion riyals annually in gross domestic product, and provide 325,000 new job opportunities through more than 200 types of jobs in various sectors and industries throughout the project development period, and enhance the development of a number of sectors, as “Al -Qudayya” is working to attract local and international investors, which will be reflected in the prosperity of Business in the city of Riyadh and in the Kingdom in general.
The Saudi Press Agency “SPA” met with Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al -Asaker; To talk about the most prominent teacher in the Tuwaiq Mountains, he said: Al -Qaddiyah is taken from the cod and it is the fissure in the mountain, where it cuts the road to the Aqdiyah Jabal Tuwaiq Al -Ashham from the western and eastern direction, and this road is more than three thousand years old, as it starts from the city of Hajar al -Yamamah in the foot, to penetrate the mountain in the west, and around it inscriptions and deep effects, extending to thousands of years. The restoration that was during the reign of Imam Faisal bin Turki, then came after him the last restoration during the reign of the founding king Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman – may God bless him – in 1352 AH.
The total area of ​​the project is +360 square kilometers, and Al -Qadiya plans also include qualitative projects such as: The Rapid Straice, which includes the “The Blade”, the first hanging turn of its kind in the world, and the “Falcon Trip” game in “Six Flags City of Qaddia”, which is the highest, fastest and longest in the world, along with “Aquaria” – the largest water park in the region.
It is worth noting that the reputation of the name “Tuwaiq” made him live in the conscience of every Saudi citizen, as it is not accumulated rocks, but rather the memory of a homeland that stores the battles of monotheism, the horses of commercial caravans, and the breaths of the pioneers who transformed the desert into an epic, and it was inspired by the palace owned by the Royal Commission for the Development of the city In the capital, the name of Tuwaiq is also called a large neighborhood from the west of the city of Riyadh, and on the name of the most prominent sports club in Al -Zulfi Governorate and its leading magazine, “Sada Tuwaiq”, and it was called main and sub -streets in Riyadh in the Al -Sahafa and Al -Qadisiyah neighborhood, the cities of Dhahran, Al -Majmaah, Ain Ibn Fahid in Al -Aswar Governorate and other regions of the Kingdom.
