China gives Ahmed Nasser Al -Raisi, the “Great Wall of the Golden Wall” in appreciation of its contributions to supporting global security

BEIJING, on June 28/ WAM/ The People’s Republic of China granted Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al -Raisi, head of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), “The Great Wall of the Golden Class” and the highest security medal granted by the Chinese Ministry of Public Security during an official ceremony held in the capital, Beijing, in the presence of His Excellency Wang Chiahong, member of the State Council and Chinese Public Security Minister.

This medal – which reflects the extent of the global appreciation of Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al -Raisi – is one of the highest national honorary symbols in China, and is granted to prominent international figures in appreciation of its exceptional contributions in supporting global security, enhancing cooperation with the Chinese security services, and the effective contribution to combating organized crime, cross -border crime, terrorism and cyber challenges.

The Chinese Ministry of Public Security emphasized that this honor embodies China’s appreciation for the international efforts led by Major General Al -Raysi through its presidency of the Interpol, the largest international police organization that includes 196 member states, and its history extends for more than 100 years in the service of collective security and global cooperation.

During his meeting with His Excellency Wang Xuhong, a member of the State Council of State Minister of Public Security in China, Major General Al -Raisi stressed the importance of strengthening strategic coordination and exchanging information between Interpol countries, especially in light of the rapid security developments that require a unified and effective response.

He expressed his deep thanks and gratitude for this high honor, stressing that the “Great Wall of the Golden Wall” is not only an individual honor, but also an international recognition of the role of Interpol as a global platform for security cooperation and the collective efforts made to protect the security of peoples and combat organized crime.

He said that the honor by China is an additional incentive for us in Interpol to continue to build partnerships and enhance the bridges of cooperation with our partners around the world.

He stressed that this achievement embodies the effective contribution of the United Arab Emirates and its national competencies in the international security scene, and reflects the growing global confidence in its security leaders, which works within international systems to achieve security and peace.

Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al -Raisi is the first Arab and Emirati to take over the presidency of INTERPOL, at a prominent station of the organization’s history, and a historical precedent that enhances the position of the Arab world and the UAE on the international security map.
