Sharjah, on June 29 / WAM / The Sharjah Economic Development Department launched the “immediate license” service that enables investors and entrepreneurs to issue a commercial license immediately without the need to attach a founding contract or lease contract in the first year, as part of its endeavor to encourage investment and attract investors.
The “Sharjah Economy” created the immediate license to enable the investor to practice his activity immediately with the aim of accelerating and reducing procedures, shortening the customer’s journey and increasing economic growth rates in the emirate.
The department begins the issuance of the “immediate license” within one working day, which improves the investment environment in Sharjah and limits some investors to practice economic activities without licensing.
The “Instant License” service includes all office activities that do not require other authorities ’approvals, while allowing three employees to the license, as it is considered a type of license granted without the need for procedures and requirements required from regular licenses in order to help investors in their business in the first year and then fulfill the special conditions in the license in the second year.
The “immediate license” targets new investors and economic facilities wishing to expand specific types of activities and contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the Emirate of Sharjah.
The “Sharjah Economy” seeks through the “Instant License” to enable companies to fully benefit from the competitive advantages offered by the Emirate of Sharjah and stimulating the business environment as the government agency entrusted with organizing economic activity in the emirate and concerned with supporting the process of economic diversification, sustainable growth and competitiveness as it focuses on facilitating the practice of business, which contributes to the anticipation and industry of a better future, developing the investment environment and promoting The attractiveness of the strategic economic sectors and the provision of high -quality services according to the finest international standards.
His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdullah Al -Mahmoud, Head of the Economic Development Department in Sharjah, stressed that the department, thanks to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah and the follow -up of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council, was keen to develop a legislative and organizational environment to enhance business growth and support its continuity and sustainability in accordance with the best global practices, which enhances the growth of the economy of the Emirate of Sharjah and support its competitiveness Regionally and globally.
He said that the “immediate license” service comes within the framework of the “Sharjah Economic” strategy aimed at supporting the march of economic diversification and sustainable growth in the emirate and its contribution to supporting investors through the ease and speed of the process of establishing their business, which reflects the commitment of the Emirate of Sharjah to the continuous development of the business system and the consolidation of the emirate’s position as a global investment center.
