"Archive and the National Library" He honors the winners of the award "Young historian" In its 15th version

Abu Dhabi, June 29 / WAM / The Archive and the National Library honored the winning students in the fifteenth edition of the “Young Historian” competition, whose research and projects focused on the values of the general community and its goals, highlighting the elements that strengthen the pillars of the union and establish the state’s reputation globally, such as tolerance, coexistence and sustainability.
In his speech during the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Majid Al Ali, Director General of the Archives and the National Library, stressed the growing value of the award in consolidating belonging to the homeland and planting national principles in the hearts of new generations, pointing to the noticeable increase in the numbers of participating research and its high quality year after year.
Dr. Aisha Balhara, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, indicated that this year’s research was characterized by its high quality and competitive level, and reflected the awareness of the youth of their responsibility to preserve the UAE’s legacy and history.
The award targeted students of the fifth to twelfth grades, where the winners were honored in categories that included economic history, Emirati studies, geographical history, oral and social history, in addition to the exceptional award.
