847 million dirhams hotel enterprises in Abu Dhabi during April 2025

During the month of April of the current year, hotel facilities in Abu Dhabi recorded revenues of 847 million dirhams, distributed by 540 million dirhams for rooms, 256 million dirhams of food and drink revenues, and 51 million dirhams other revenues.

According to the initial data of the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, issued by the Statistics Center in Abu Dhabi, the hotel facilities in the emirate received about 531 thousand inmates, in an indicator that reflects the emirate’s increasing attractiveness as a global tourist destination, supported by the diversity of accommodation options and high hotel services levels.

The number of hotel establishments that received visitors in Abu Dhabi during the month of March was 172 facilities, including 34.383 hotel rooms, while the total number of residence nights reached more than 1.52 million nights, registering a occupancy rate of 87 percent, while the average hotel room revenues reached about 614 dirhams.

The inmates coming from the non -Arab countries issued the list of visitors with 149 thousand inmates, followed by European guests with 148 thousand inmates, then the citizens of the UAE with 97 thousand inmates, as this indicator reflects the continued growth in the tourism sector of the emirate, reinforcing its position as a preferred destination for visitors from various global markets.

According to the hotel classification, the five -star hotels received the largest percentage of guests with a total of 265 thousand inmates, in their lead was the European visitors with 95 thousand inmates, while the rest of the guests were distributed over four -star hotels with 143 thousand inmates, and the hotels of three stars and less than 63 thousand inmates, in addition to 61 thousand inmates in the hotel apartments.
