Sharjah .. Approval of 111 applications within the supplementary grant for retirees of 4.95 million dirhams
Sharjah, July 2 / WAM / The Complementary Scholarship Committee for retirees in the Emirate of Sharjah, within the supplementary support program for retirees, approved 111 new requests that fulfilled the conditions and standards approved, at a total annual cost of 4,955,503.08 dirhams, out of 133 requests that were presented and studied according to the approved controls and procedures.
This came during the eighth meeting of the committee today, chaired by His Excellency Abdullah Ibrahim Al -Zaabi, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, Chairman of the Human Resources Department, Chairman of the Committee, and in the presence of the committee members.
The adoption of these requests comes within the framework of Sharjah’s keenness to enhance the social welfare system for retirees, and to support their living stability by providing complementary grants that contribute to meeting their basic needs, in order to enhance the quality of their lives.
The committee affirmed its continued study of requests accurately and effectively, according to mechanisms that guarantee the speed of deciding and achieving social justice, in line with the emirate’s vision in caring for various groups of society.
