“Emirates Today” learned that the Football Association is heading to establish an external training camp for the national team in Austria, next September, in preparation for the qualifying attaché to the 2026 World Cup, knowing that the Asian Federation had decided to hold the drawing ceremony of the supplement’s draw on the 17th of this month, while the matches will be held from next October.

The Football Association, in consultation with the administrative and technical bodies, is studying the best possible options regarding the preparation of the team, creating the appropriate atmosphere, and providing all the requirements that managed the Romanian coach, Oario Cosmin and the players to perform their mission to the fullest extent to win the qualification card to the World Cup, for the second time in the history of the UAE ball, after Al -Abyad failed to win the direct qualification card by his solutions in the third group, in the first group that qualified Directly to the World Cup, Iran and Uzbekistan.

On the other hand, the Football Association postponed the discussion of some details related to the camp arrangements, especially the friendly matches and teams that will meet them amicably during the preparation period, until after the lottery, to find out the identity of the two teams that “white” will face in the attachment.

Six teams qualified for the annex, which are next to the national team, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, Oman and Indonesia, and “Al -Abyad” was placed within the second level, and it is expected, according to the expected draw, to face the “white” team, the Saudi or Qatari team, and on the other hand it will face Oman or Indonesia.

In turn, the coach of the team, Cosmin, was keen during the last period, with the help of his assistants, to follow up on the physical and health condition of the national team after they leave a long football season, in order to choose the most ready elements from all aspects to fight the upcoming camp.

It is noteworthy that the Football Association recently announced the appointment of both Matar Al -Sahabani and Ismail Rashid within the administrative apparatus of the national team, to succeed the former administrative apparatus led by Yasser Salem and Mohamed Ibrahim.
