“Al-Abyad” defeats Al-Wahda team in a friendly match

The first national football team won 4-1 over the first team of Al Wahda Club in the friendly match that brought them together today, Thursday, at Al Nahyan Stadium in the capital, Abu Dhabi, as part of the national team’s internal gathering, which will continue until the 30th of this month.

The team’s goals came from Sohail El Noubi, Youri Cesar, Ousmane Kamara, and Nicolas Jimenez.

The technical staff of the national team, led by Romanian coach Eulario Cosmin, was keen to play the match with two different formations throughout the two halves in order to determine the level of the players.

The team is expected to play another friendly match next Monday against Gulf United at Zayed Sports City Stadium.

The match was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Football Association. It was also attended by the First Vice President of the Federation and President of the UAE Professional League, Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi, the Second Vice President of the Federation, Obaid Salem Al Shamsi, members of the Board of Directors, Abdul Mohsen Al Dosari, Fahd Ismail, and Amal Bushlakh, and the Secretary General of the Federation, Mohammed Al Dhaheri.
