A judicial ruling condemns “dead” regarding the privacy of data

A German court ordered, yesterday, the American “Mita” giant company, to pay 5,000 euros to a Facebook user, for violating the rules for protecting European data, in a decision that paves the way for more complaints. A statement issued by the regional “Leipzig” court in East Germany stated that the “high” fine is due to “a particle dead violation of the European Data Protection Law”, through its “commercial” tools designed to determine the identity of Facebook users, and thus achieve billions of dollars through the directed ads. This practice contradicts European law, as it leads to semi -permanent monitoring of users’s private life, even when they do not use their accounts on Facebook or Instagram.
