Artist Nabila Obaid explained that she is living a bad situation because of the recently approved Egyptian government, which allows the tenants to leave residential apartments leased by long -term contracts.

Obaid added that she did not mind “raising the rental value”, although the owner of the apartment did not communicate with it.

A source close to the artist revealed that she is worried about the loss of the apartment, because she has another apartment in Giza, and this gives the owner the right to restore it without waiting for the seven years stipulated in the law.

The source added that Obaid was staying in the apartment with her mother, and she did not think about buying it for her own apartment, and because the old rental law was giving the heirs the right to obtain housing units without buying them.
