Re -election the head of the euro group for a third term

After his re -election in Brussels, Donuho stressed that he will remain a real and sincere mediator in negotiations, and will work to enhance the field of European joint currency and facilitate tangible progress in the main work paths, including the coordination of the budget, the capital markets union, the digital euro and the banking union.

He said that the presence of the Euro region is stronger and more competitive, will enhance the international role of the euro, and enhance the country’s countries’ ability to withstand and prosper.

The euro group is an unofficial body established in 1997 in which the ministers of member states in the euro zone are discussing issues related to the common responsibilities of their countries related to the euro. Its main task is to ensure the close coordination of economic policies between the eurozone member states, and to create conditions for stronger economic growth.
