Circular to hotels extending check-out times for visitors

The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi confirmed that life in Abu Dhabi is proceeding normally, from public services and transportation networks to hotels and cultural attractions.

The department explained in a blog post on the “X” platform, “During the weekend, a circular was issued to hotels extending check-out times for visitors whose flights or cruise schedules were affected.”

The department continued: “We encourage those who are still facing challenges in completing their trip to coordinate directly with the reception offices in their hotels.”

The department said: “For any inquiries related to the compensated accommodation or covered services, the hotel staff can confirm the relevant arrangements and provide guidance based on the reservation details and the instructions received regarding your case.”

With regard to passenger services, the department called for communicating directly with airport or cruise staff, as they are the most appropriate entity to review and respond to these issues.
