He added that the teams specialized in the General Traffic Department succeeded in identifying the driver and seizing it in record time, and the necessary legal measures were taken against him, including the vehicle’s reservation and the application of the provisions of local decree No. 30 of 2023, which provides for the imposition of a fine of up to 50 thousand dirhams to break the vehicles of the vehicles whose drivers are committing serious violations, in addition to referring the driver to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures against him.

Major General Saif Al Mazrouei pointed out that these actions constitute a direct threat to the safety and safety of road users, pointing out that traffic statistics showed that more than 80% of drivers who commit serious violations such as dangerous abuses and excessive speed were a party to fatal accidents or led to severe injuries.
