The dollar is turning away from its highest level in two weeks

The dollar fell today, Thursday, away from its highest level in two weeks against the main currencies.

The dollar index, which measures the performance of the US currency against a basket of six main currencies, fell 0.1 percent to 97.286 after falling 0.2 percent yesterday, Wednesday, the same day that rose to the highest level since June 25 to 97.837.

The dollar fell 0.3 percent to 145.84 yen, and 0.3 percent came to 0.7922 Swiss francs.

The euro rose 0.2 percent to $ 1.1747, while the pound sterling increased 0.2 percent to $ 1.3612.

The cryptocurrency “Bitcoin” increased 0.3 percent to about 111114 dollars, to approach its highest level ever recorded last night at 111988.90 dollars.
