“Foreign” and “Justice” launches the service of international judicial cooperation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the Ministry of Justice, launched the service of international judicial cooperation, as part of the government bureaucracy program in its second stage; In order to achieve a qualitative leap in providing government services, and developing an integrated system that enhances the quality of international cooperation in judicial matters, through a unified digital platform linking the ministries of foreign and justice and representative missions of the state abroad, and foreign missions approved by the UAE.

The “International Judicial Cooperation” service is provided in its new update through a central channel linking the judicial and diplomatic authorities through only three steps, and the time of completion is shortened by automating the procedures in a manner that reduces the delay resulting from traditional procedures, and contributes to unifying the path of exchange of requests concerned inside and outside the country.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Omar Obaid Al -Hoss Al -Shamsi, stressed that cooperation with the Ministry of Justice comes in response to the directives of the rational leadership, and in support of the national strategic efforts to enhance integration between government agencies, and to provide digital services that keep pace with the aspirations of customers and contribute to raising the efficiency of government work, and upgrading the quality of life and well -being of various members of society, indicating that the service of international judicial cooperation comes within the package of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that aims to develop mechanisms Judicial coordination and facilitating procedures for foreign missions approved by the state through one system that allows the exchange of requests, documents and judicial documents, quickly and efficiently.

It is worth noting that the ministries of the foreign and justice were among the parties that won the “State Bureaucracy District Award” in its first session; Where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs won the “Innovative Solutions” award for the “Smart Mission” project, through which it succeeded in zeroing 80% of its bureaucratic procedures, while the Ministry of Justice won the first place in the category of the best team at the level of the Emirates government in the bureaucracy topple the bureaucracy.
