Saudi Arabia: The index of industrial production increased by 1.5% for the month of May

The index of the index of industrial production quantities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia increased by 1.5% during the month of May, compared to the same month of the previous year, supported by the high mining activity and the exploitation of quarries, manufacturing activity, water supply activity, sanitation activities, waste management and treatment.
The results of the index of industrial production issued by the General Authority for Statistics, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), showed that the sub -record index of mining activity and quarry exploitation increased by 2.1%, and the sub -record index of manufacturing activity by 0.9% on an annual basis.
The results reported that the sub -record for electricity, gas and steam supplies and air conditioning decreased by 7.7%, and the increase in the sub -record for water supply activity, sanitation activities, waste management activities and its treatment by 15.5%, compared to May of the previous year.
She pointed to an annual increase in the performance of each of the index of the oil activities, and the index of the record for non -oil activities by 0.5%, and 3.8%, respectively.
