“Air Arabia” resumes its direct flights to Damascus

Sharjah Airport announced the resumption of its direct flights to the Syrian capital, Damascus, through the Arab Air Company, after a period of several years, by two flights daily between Sharjah Airport and Damascus International Airport.

The inauguration of the first trip came after the resumption of this line in a welcoming atmosphere in the presence of the head of the Sharjah International Airport Authority, Ali Salem Al -Midfa, the General Consul of the Syrian Arab Republic in the state, Dr. Ziyad Yahya Zahr Al -Din, the CEO of the Arab Air Group, Adel Al -Ali, along with a number of officials and managers in the Sharjah International Airport Authority and representatives of the airport agencies, the commercial and tourism development authority in Sharjah and the government relations department in Sharjah.

The cannon emphasized that the resumption of direct flights between Sharjah and Damascus represents an important station in the strategic expansion march pursued by the airport and embodies its firm commitment to strengthening the air link network and facilitating the movement of travel in front of the various categories of travelers, indicating that this step reflects the ongoing keenness of the airport to make Sharjah Airport a distinct travel gateway to travelers and contribute to the development of the economic and tourism movement between the UAE And the Syrian Arab Republic.

This decision comes in response to the increasing demand for traveling between the UAE and the Syrian Arab Republic, as well as the role of Sharjah Airport in strengthening social and economic ties between the two brotherly peoples.
