Bahrain’s general index rose at the end of trading, driven by the telecommunications and financial sectors, and the Bahrain Islamic index maintained its stability

The Bahrain General Index closed today at the level of one thousand nine hundred and twelve points and fifty-five units out of a hundred, an increase of three points and fifty-four units out of a hundred from the previous closing rate, due to the rise in the index of the communications sector, the financial sector and the basic materials sector, while the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at the level of nine hundred and twenty-one points and eighty-seven units out of a hundred, maintaining its previous closing.
This was stated in the daily report of the stock exchange, in which it was explained that the quantity of shares traded for today amounted to six hundred and seventy-three thousand and twenty-five shares, with a total value of one hundred and seventy-nine thousand and one hundred and twenty-six Bahraini dinars, which were executed through seventy-four transactions. Investor activity in trading was focused on shares of the financial sector, as the value of its traded shares amounted to fifty-five percent and ninety-five hundredths of the total value of securities traded.
