Abu Dhabi, July 11 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority participates at the Liwa Wet Festival in its 21st edition, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority in Liwa in the Al Dhafra area in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, during the period from 14 to 27 July 2025.
The authority’s participation in the festival includes the promotion of the fourth session of the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Agricultural Excellence Award, in addition to introducing the most important projects, programs, activities and services it provides, and introducing the feed market and services provided to the owners of livestock, and on the project of air control of wiping farms and singles, and the post -harvest program for palm trees, along with the announcement of the guide of wet varieties that have been prepared before The authority, and includes comprehensive and comprehensive information on all kinds of wet in the country.
The authority’s participation also includes the definition of the integrated package of services provided by the authority to farm owners, especially with regard to agricultural counseling services, while highlighting its efforts in the field of control of palm lesions and the application of integrated management programs to combat them and awareness of good practices to take care of the blessed palm tree with a special focus on how to manage and install Fermons, optical traps and recommended methods to treat injuries That affects the palm trunk.
The “rotation” group also announced its participation in the Liwa Wet Festival, in its twenty -first session, as part of its continuous efforts to raise awareness of sustainability and stimulate the societal environmental role, in national cultural events.
The group participates in the festival held in the Al Dhafra region from 14 to 27 July 2025, through an interactive suite aimed at raising environmental awareness, especially between the youth category, by organizing interesting educational workshops, innovative activities on ways to recycle and reuse, and extract valuable resources from waste. The “Rotation” suite highlights the importance of recycling plastic waste, in line with the “July Plastic” global initiative, which aims to reduce dependence on plastic materials, especially with a single use.
The General Command of Abu Dhabi Police is participating in securing the festival activities; Brigadier Hamdan Saif Al -Mansouri, Director of the Al -Dhafra Police Directorate in the Criminal Security Sector, stressed that Abu Dhabi Police pays great attention to supporting heritage and societal events because of its cultural value that contributes to enhancing the position of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as a capital that is incubating heritage festivals and cultural programs that play a major role in sustaining heritage and transferring it from generation to generation, and communicating it To the countries of the world, as well as stimulating domestic tourism and attracting visitors locally and externally.
He pointed out that the Abu Dhabi Police is participating through an integrated field wing that includes a number of police departments as well as the Al Dhafra Police Directorate with the aim of providing various police and guidance services and direct interaction with the public as part of its efforts in making society happy and spreading security culture among visitors, praising the continuous partnership with the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority in the success of the festival and achieving its goals.
