Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed visits the Liwa Wet Festival
Liwa, July 14 / WAM / Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited the activities of the 21st edition of the Liwa Wet Festival, which will be held in the city of Liwa in the Al Dhafra region under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and head of the Presidential Bureau, and will continue until July 27 by organizing the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority.
The visit of Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan included the wings of the participating parties, the wet market, palm trees, agricultural materials, the popular market and heritage crafts.
Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan also briefed on an aspect of the festival competitions on its first day, and he learned about the most prominent events and heritage competitions presented by the festival for 14 days, in addition to lectures, seminars and competitions provided to farmers and visitors at the festival theater.
