Hamdan bin Mohammed launches the first global classification to enhance transparency in the research between man and machine

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Foundation for the Future, has adopted the launch of a new global classification system, explaining the extent of automatic intelligence participation with humans in research, production and dissemination of creative, scientific, research, intellectual and academic content.

His Highness said: “The distinction between human creativity and artificial intelligence has become a real challenge in light of the great development of technology, which requires a new approach to clarifying the role of automatic intelligence in our works and productivity … That is why we launched the first global classification of its kind that includes five major classifications that determine the level of cooperation between human and technology in the production and dissemination of content, including reports, research and academic studies, pictures, media materials and digital content Generally in all its forms.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum added: “We invite all researchers, writers, publishers, content makers and designers around the world to benefit from this new system and use it responsible and useful to people,” while His Highness directed government agencies in Dubai to start adopting the five classifications included in the system in its research and cognitive work.
His Highness stressed that the launch of this first initiative of its kind in the world reflects Dubai’s keenness to actively participate in the global technical movement to enhance the useful uses of future technology applications that have become an important tool in developing scientific research and creative content.

The transparency of spreading content
The launch of the global classification icon system developed by the Dubai Future Foundation aims to clarify the extent of human-mushien-collaboration in promoting transparency in scientific research and providing a clear way that allows readers, researchers and decision makers to see the impact of using automatic intelligence in the areas of content production, design and publishing that will depend more on technology in the future.

Classification of all types of content
Global classification icons within the new system constitute a prominent addition that enhances the quality of intellectual and creative efforts related to research and content preparation, design and related results, including academic studies, research papers, scientific articles, educational materials, reports, graphic fees and presentations, books, articles and technical documents, contents, artistic and visual work and content published through platforms Social communication.

The concept of automatic intelligence
The concept of “automatic intelligence” includes various digital technologies such as algorithms, automation tools, obstetric artificial intelligence, robots, and any technological tool that contributes to the process of research or content production.

5 classifications for the form of cooperation between human and automatic intelligence
The classification includes 5 main icons that can be used by content producers according to the level of automatic intelligence participation with humans and interaction between them, as the first classification indicates the production of content by the entire human without technological intervention, and in the second classification the role of automatic intelligence is an supervisory and supportive to verify the content that man produced and attention to errors and correct them and improve outputs.

The third classification refers to the work of human and automatic intelligence in a cooperative manner, on the production of content, while the main role in the fourth classification of automated intelligence in the production of content is limited to the human role to verify his quality and health, and in the fifth classification the automatic intelligence undertakes the task of producing the content completely without human intervention.

9 sub -classifications
In addition to these five major classification icons, there are 9 sub -icons that classify the stage in which the cooperation between man and automatic intelligence in research and content production, and these stages include: generating ideas, research review, data collection, data analysis, data interpretation, editing, translation, visual content, and design.

These icons are designed to have the flexibility necessary to use them in research, content and publications in any industry, field or context, including visible content such as pictures and videos, despite the difficulty of determining accurate percentages, because this type of evaluation depends on personal diligence, and there is no uniform method to accurately measure it.
