The President of the State and the Albanian Prime Minister discuss the relations of the two countries

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and the hands of Rama, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them in various fields of development priority, especially economic and commercial, renewable energy, food security, technology and other vital aspects to serve the common interests of the two countries and return with goodness and growth over their people.
This came during a meeting with His Highness the Prime Minister Al -Albani at the headquarters of the Prime Minister in “Tirana” in the context of a working visit by His Highness to Albania, and Eddie Rama welcomed at the beginning of the meeting with the visit of His Highness the President of the State and the accompanying delegation, looking forward to the visit to upgrading the relations of the two countries towards wider horizons of cooperation and joint work in support of development in the two countries and meets their aspirations towards the future.
During the meeting, the two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern, and exchanged views on them, stressing in this context the importance of enhancing international cooperation to resolve conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic paths, in a way that contributes to supporting the pillars of security and stability at the regional and international levels.
His Highness the President of the State affirmed the UAE’s keenness to strengthen its relations with the countries of the Balkans, especially the Republic of Albania, stressing His Highness on the country’s firm approach to building fruitful development partnerships that focus on cooperation and common interests besides its support everything that would establish peace and stability in the region in a way that achieves development and prosperity for its peoples and the peoples of the world and contributes to building a more prosperous future for all.
The two sides also affirmed their keenness to continue to advance bilateral relations and expand areas of cooperation, especially economic, investment and development between the two countries, in a way that brings good for their two friendly peoples.
Eddie Rama, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, granted, during the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, the Medal of “Benimrenti” in appreciation of His Highness’s efforts to support bilateral relations and its prosperity at various levels, which is the highest honor granted by the Prime Minister in Albania.
The Prime Minister appreciated His Highness’s keenness to develop and upgrade Emirati -Albanian relations, stressing that granting the medal comes as an expression of the great appreciation that His Highness has in Albania.
The meeting was attended by the accompanying delegation of His Highness, which includes both His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidential Bureau for Special Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, and Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary -General of the Supreme Council of National Security, Dr. The Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Head of the President of the State for Strategic Affairs and Head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office and Faisal Abdel Aziz Al -Banna The Republic of Greece is the non -resident ambassador to Albania, and Mohamed El Abbar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Eagle Hills”.
His Highness the President of the State had arrived in the Albanian capital, “Tirana” earlier today, when he was received by His Highness upon his arrival at Tirana International Airport, Eddie Rama, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, and a number of ministers and senior officials in Albania.
