The Petroleum Trading Committee in Abu Dhabi is looking to promote safety

Abu Dhabi, July 17 / WAM / The Petroleum Medicines Trading Committee stressed the importance of implementing a technical study for examination at the border outlets, as well as coordinating joint inspection campaigns between the relevant authorities to enhance field control, stressing the need to accelerate the linking of digital systems between the relevant government agencies to ensure data integration and the speed of response, and to facilitate the issuance of trading permits and raise the level of coordination in controlling incompatible products through a national platform Unified contributes to promoting compliance and protecting the local market.
This came at the second committee meeting for the year 2025, which was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Saif Saeed Al Qubaisi, Acting Director General of Organizational Affairs in the Energy Department, and the participation of 25 federal and local government agencies.
The meeting’s agenda included discussion of a list of topics and the presentation of a number of offers related to the efforts made by the various bodies to regulate the circulation of petroleum products in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and it was agreed to implement and follow up recommendations, and in line with the legislation issued regarding the regulation of petroleum materials, represented by Federal Law No. (14) of 2017, and its executive regulations issued according to Cabinet Resolution No. (35) of 2019, in addition to the law No. (5) of 2023 regarding the organization of these activities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
