Abu Dhabi Police and the Monitoring and Control Center call for adherence to the controls of surveillance camera systems in homes

The Abu Dhabi Police General Command, in cooperation with the Monitoring and Control Center, called on community members to adhere to the approved controls and requirements when installing and using home surveillance systems (surveillance cameras), under the slogan “Be Reassured,” aiming to enhance security and safety and preserve privacy.

She explained that video surveillance cameras are devices that take pictures and record videos of specific areas for the purpose of monitoring, monitoring and recording events and are used in homes to provide a safer environment in places with coverage level in homes.

She urged the necessity of strict commitment not to publish any film recording material or image taken from the visual surveillance system, through any means (such as social media or other means), and the importance of keeping the system in a safe place that is difficult to tamper with, and avoiding covering private places in the home while taking into account the privacy of the surrounding homes, considering that safety is a blessing that all human beings deserve.
