Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority signs a memorandum of understanding with the association "duty" Voluntary

Abu Dhabi, March 19 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with the “Wajib” Volunteer Association, with the aim of strengthening frameworks of joint cooperation in supporting volunteer work and qualifying volunteers to participate in civil defense work, in a way that contributes to supporting the community security and safety system and consolidating the culture of social responsibility and humanitarian work.

The memorandum comes within the framework of the Authority’s keenness to expand the scope of community partnerships and activate the role of volunteer work in supporting the efforts of the civil defense system, by empowering volunteers and preparing them according to specialized training programs that enhance their readiness for effective participation in community service.

The memorandum of understanding – which extends for three years and can be renewed – stipulates that the “Wajib” Volunteer Association will be approved as a supporting body for the Authority’s activities, which will enhance the participation of volunteers in supporting civil defense efforts and contribute to enhancing the presence of volunteer work in this vital field.
