“Training from a distance” covers the emirate in 2026

The Dubai Ambulance Foundation confirmed the expansion of emergency medical services, through the application of the TELE-Dems system to include all regions of the Emirate of Dubai by 2026, by providing a field emergency doctor working around the clock, to provide direct medical guidance and consultations for ambulance sets at various levels, through modern communication technologies.

The Executive Director of the Dubai Ambulance Corporation, Meshaal Abdul Karim Julphar, revealed to «Emirates Today» that the expansion of the creation of medical processes centers comes within a strategic plan aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, and expanding the advanced medical coverage, indicating that this trend recently included the inclusion of a permanent field doctor in the Center for Medical Operations Center at a distance of the Zabeel ambulance station, after success The first experience that started in the main building since the end of 2022.

Mishaal Julphar indicated that the future plan for the project aims to increase the medical centers from the gradual raising the efficiency of the service in various regions of the Emirate of Dubai, provided that the project is completed by the beginning of the beginning of 2026.

For its part, the Acting Medical Director of Medical Director at Dubai Ambulance, Dr. Maitha Rashid Al Falasi, said that the TELE-Dems is one of the projects of the newly developed development institution, which was launched at the end of 2022, and depends on the presence of an emergency doctor in the operating room around the clock, to direct the emergency teams in the field, through direct communication with the ambulatory crew, to improve the quality of care Health presented at the site of the communication.

She added that the service depends on providing direct medical support and guidance by the doctor to the paramedics in the field, in a manner that ensures the provision of advanced and effective care for emergency cases, and the disbursement of appropriate medicines under the supervision of the doctor, stressing that these procedures contribute to raising the rates of survival for critical cases, reducing the level of risk to patients, and following up the stability of their condition until compliance with healing, in addition to identifying critical cases that require an immediate transfer to the hospital To receive the necessary medical care.

She explained that the future plan for the medical service service aims to expand and spread in various regions of the Emirate of Dubai, and also confirmed that the Dubai Ambulance Corporation worked to train its emergency teams according to the highest international standards, in a way that ensures their ability to deal efficiently with various critical medical cases, and to provide optimal care in immediate coordination with the distant specialized doctors.

“Dubai Ambulance” attaches great importance to developing its services continuously, by investing in human cadres and smart technologies, and currently provides an integrated ambulance system distributed throughout the emirate, along with various fleets that include emergency vehicles, fast response teams, bicycles and electrical bicycles, in a way that meets the needs and visitors of Dubai in the clock.
