Russia: We have gained severe immunity against Western sanctions

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said yesterday that Russia has gained severe immunity against Western sanctions and adapted to it, commenting on a new sanctions package imposed by the European Union on Russia because of the Ukraine war.

Yesterday, the European Union reached an agreement to impose the eighteenth sanctions package on Russia, which includes measures aimed at tightening restrictions on the oil and energy sectors.

Peskov described the sanctions as illegal, and said that every new restriction will have negative consequences for the countries that support him.
