China: 3.1 trillion dollars trade volume with countries "Belt and road" In 2024
BEIJING, on July 19 / WAM / China revealed that its trade with the countries participating in the “Belt and Road” initiative jumped to $ 3.1 trillion last year compared to $ 2.7 trillion in 2021, making up 50.7% of its total foreign trade.
Chinese Deputy Minister of Trade Lee Cheng Gang said during a press conference on Friday that bilateral investments have exceeded 240 billion US dollars from 2021 until the first half of this year, including more than 160 billion US dollars as Chinese investments in the initiative countries, and 80 billion dollars flowed to China, while the volume of cumulative revenues for the external engineering contracts of China reached approximately 600 billion US dollars.
“Lee” pointed out that these projects strengthened the infrastructure and improved the lives of people, stressing the signing of notes of investment cooperation with more than 50 countries in the sectors of the digital and green economy, and the expansion of cooperation in e -commerce to include 36 countries.
