Abdullah Al -Hamid discusses in London the means of media and technological cooperation

London, July 19 / WAM / His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office, Chairman of the Emirates Media Council, met in the British capital, London, Tom Hidson, an expert in the fields of technological investment, legal and governmental affairs and an accelerated Emirates book author.
The meeting dealt with ways to activate specific partnerships, and benefit from international experiences in technological investment to develop the media structure and enhance their future capabilities, and the two sides discussed the importance of the integration of legal and regulatory frameworks with technical innovation, and in a way that contributes to building an advanced and sustainable media model.
His Excellency listened to Heidson’s theses about the employment of modern technology tools to support the media industry, based on his experience in providing consultations to a number of major companies and projects in the areas of digital transformation, government legislation and international expansion.
His Excellency Abdullah Al Hamed stressed that the great technological transformations that we are currently witnessing pushing media institutions to be a pioneer in adopting artificial intelligence tools and data analyzes.
His Excellency said: Our vision in the UAE is based on building a flexible, innovative media system, and is able to anticipate the needs of the public and the manufacture of content that reflects our national aspirations and our established identity.
The meeting witnessed the review of Tom Hidson for his book “The Fasting Emirates”, in which he dealt with the exceptional story of the UAE, and how it was able to use the characteristics of the accelerating organizations in a unique way, as Tom reviewed the achievements of the country in the first fifty years and what is awaiting it in the coming decades, while highlighting how companies benefit from the opportunities available in the Emirates, and how other countries can inspire their experience.
