The death of a family of four members washed away by torrents in Yemen

In the fourth incident of its kind in two weeks, four members of one family were killed, on Friday, after the torrents were washed away in a street in the city of Ibb, central Yemen, as a result of the heavy rains that hit the province.

Local sources and activists stated that the victims are the head of the 55 -year -old family, his wife and two of his children, and the torrents surprised them while crossing their car, one of the rains affected.

The sources indicated that the father had recently returned from the United States after many years of residency there, with the aim of settling in his country.

This incident comes as part of a series of disasters related to the rains that witnessed recently, where four people died in the Hazm Al -Aden district, a woman in the Al -Radhama district, and two other people inside the city, due to the torrents and landslides resulting from weather conditions.
