UAE bicycle maintains the lead at the end of the 14th stage of France

Paris on July 20 / WAM / The Emirates Bicycle Team maintained its lead in France International Tour, thanks to the brilliance of its Slovenian star Tadi Bugsher, who ranked second in the fourteenth stage of the race yesterday, which spanned 182.6 km between Pao and Lucon-Superbagerier, through legendary hills such as Tordier, Cole Dasp, and Cole de Peresord.
Bugsher managed to keep the yellow shirt, extending the difference in the overall ranking in front of his closest competitors, after a strong performance on the rising mountainous roads, despite the foggy atmosphere and the slippery road.
The stage witnessed an early move from the group of separation that led the race when the Tordalism climbed, before the UAE team, led by Bugsher, gradually reducing the difference by climbing Dasatin and Berresord.
In the last meters, Thimman Arinsmann of the (Inos Greenaders) team maintained its progress to resolve the first place, while the Bugsher and the Danish duo, Jonas Fenjegard, imposed their control behind him, in a continuation of their exclusive competition for the forefront of the race.
Bugsher came in second place by a minute and 8 seconds for the winner, while Fenjegard came third, 12 seconds late, bringing the general difference between Bugsher and Fenggard to 4 minutes and 13 seconds.
In his remarks after the race, Bugsher said: “Arinsmann performed a great performance and deserved to win. We also presented a special race without making mistakes. Climbing the Toraliya two and a half hours after the effort was a real test, especially with thick fog and low visibility, but we have passed the challenges safely.”
