More than 152 thousand citizens working in the private sector until the end of last June

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced the arrival of the number of citizens working in the private sector to more than 152 thousand citizens working for more than 29 thousand companies, with the end of the deadline for achieving localization targets for the first half of this year on June 30.
The Ministry emphasized that the continuous successes achieved by the settlement file in the private sector, confirm the effectiveness of Emiratization policies and initiatives and compete in light of the directives and vision of our rational leadership that achieves a positive impact, pointing out in terms of preparing citizens enrolled in jobs provided by the private sector and a positive view of work in this sector in the light of enhancing the competitiveness of citizens and the added value they constitute to sustain the business and growth of companies, in light of directives And the follow -up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Bureau and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Competitiveness of the UAE cadres.
“The continued registration of historical and unprecedented numbers for citizens working in the private sector reflects the sustainability of economic growth in the country, including the entry of new companies to the labor market, which reached the rate of their growth last year about 33 %, in light of the pioneering and sustainable development model and the continuation of the development approach to ensure the provision of the best business environment.”
The Ministry valued the interaction of the targeted companies in the private sector with the policies and decisions of Emiratisation, which confirms its awareness of its responsibilities in the settlement file in a way that supports the strategic economic orientations of the state, and the sustainable and advisory vision to enhance the participation of citizens in the national economy, which constitutes a major factor in enhancing the competitiveness of the labor market, through the sustainability, efficiency and flexibility achieved by the citizen staff.
The Ministry emphasized the integrated efforts to sustain the achievements achieved by the settlement file in light of the continuation of the methodology of partnership with the private sector, and the continuation of providing privileges to the targeted and interacting companies with the policies and resetting decisions, as well as the benefits that the “Nafs” program provides through its various initiatives and programs.
Citizens work in six major economic sectors that include business services sectors, financial mediation, trade, reform services, construction and manufacturing industries, and other sectors, and they occupy jobs related to scientific, technical and humanitarian topics, specialists, managers, and in written jobs.
It is expected that the settlement file will witness an additional achievement at the end of this year, in light of the continuation of the implementation of the settlement targets for the second half of the year 2025 by achieving 1% growth in the localization of skill jobs for companies that work with 50 employees or more, adding the settlement targets in companies specified in 14 economic activities that have an appropriate work environment that it works from 20 – 49 workers, where it must appoint a citizen At least one at the end of this year.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation provides several channels to report any negative practice that contradicts the settlement policies in the private sector, by communicating with the call center on the number 600590000 or through the smart application and the Ministry’s website.
