Energy Infrastructure Award from "International Platz" "For Dubai Electricity"

Dubai, July 21 / WAM / His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al -Tayer, Managing Director, CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, received a certificate of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority winning the Energy Infrastructure Award in the prestigious Platz International Energy Awards 2024 for the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Complex, thus becoming the first service institution in the Middle East and North Africa region to win this award, outperforming 1,000 companies that were presented to this international award.
The Platz International Energy Awards, which were established by the company “S & B Global Community Insights” is among the most prestigious awards in the global energy sector, as it is often referred to as “Academy Awards for the World of Energy”.
The prizes include a wide range of categories, including sustainability, innovation, energy and technology infrastructure.
The Platz International Energy International Awards, which have been held annually since 1999, attracts nominations from energy, innovators and pioneers worldwide.

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Complex is the largest solar energy complex in one location in the world according to the independent product model, and the authority is working to increase the planned production capacity of the complex to 7,260 megawatts by 2030, while the current production capacity is 3,860 megawatts with solar panel technology and concentrated solar energy.
