Minister of State for Foreign Trade .. The Liwa Wet Festival reflects the leadership vision to empower society

Abu Dhabi, July 21/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al -Zyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, confirmed that the Liwa Wet Festival reflects the vision of the advisory leadership to empower society as it is a platform promoting local products related to palm trees as well as encouraging farmers to expand production and motivate manufacturers to innovate and support small projects and productive families.

Al -Zyoudi said during his visit to the activities of the 21st session organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, that the festival plays a major role in attracting experts, manufacturers, producers and farmers from inside and outside the country, which contributes to strengthening the efforts of the UAE in consolidating its existence in the forefront of global indicators, as it is a leading international center for trade and business.

He praised the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and its efforts in organizing agricultural festivals, as well as many diverse heritage festivals and the price of the role of farmers and producers in providing Emirati products of high quality and a professional output, especially in the field of palm trees and its associated industries.

During the visit, a number of participants in the Mazinah and Fruit competitions, accompanied by His Excellency Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Executive Director of the Festival and Events Sector at the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, Zayed Sari Al Mazrouei, director of the festival, and inspecting the wings of governmental and private agencies participating, wet market, palm trees, agricultural tools, popular market and handicrafts at the festival.
