The start of the first summer center of the Emirates Association for the Care of Parents in Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al -Khaimah on July 21/ WAM/ The activities of the “First Summer Center for the year 2025” were launched under the slogan “The Treasures of the Past in the Future Hands”, which is organized by the “Emirates Association for Parents’ Care” at its headquarters in cooperation with the Happiness Center in Ras Al Khaimah of the Ministry of Community Empowerment, under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, the honorary president of the association.
The summer center – which comes within the year of society – includes various activities such as teaching heritage crafts, free studio, sports and recreational activities, reading stories, trips and visits targeting senior citizens and girls from the age of 9 to 14 years.
Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan expressed his happiness at the inauguration of the center, which aims to enhance social cohesion and develop the skills of children and girls through various and innovative programs.
He said that the center reflects the state’s vision in strengthening the role of the family and society in developing the skills of children and qualifying them to be active individuals in society.
For his part, His Excellency Counselor Ahmed Salem Sodin, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, stressed that the summer center comes within the framework of the association’s efforts to enhance family and community cohesion, and to develop the skills of children and girls and said that the center reflects our commitment to enhancing the role of the family and society in developing the skills of children.
In turn, Nadia Saleh Al -Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Society Branch in Ras Al -Khaimah, praised the fruitful cooperation with the Happiness Center in Ras Al Khaimah of the Ministry of Community Empowerment, which contributed to the success of this summer center.
For their part, the parents of the participating students expressed their admiration for the advanced level of summer activity, which is held under qualified educational supervision.
