Nahyan bin Mubarak attends the Egyptian embassy celebration of the July 23 Revolution

Abu Dhabi, July 21/ WAM/ His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and His Excellency Khalifa Shaheen Al -Murr, attended the reception ceremony held by His Excellency Sherif Mahmoud Issa, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the state, on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.

The ceremony – which was held at the headquarters of the Egyptian embassy in Abu Dhabi – was attended by a number of senior officials and members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the state and the people of the Egyptian community residing in the country.

In a speech to him on this occasion, Ambassador Sherif Issa affirmed the depth and durability of the relations that link the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates based on the principles of brotherhood, which laid the foundations of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul.”

His Excellency pointed out that the UAE and Egypt have exceptional relations based on love and familiarity that bring together the two brotherly peoples, which recorded a great development during the last period thanks to the directives of the wise leadership of the two countries.
He said that the past two years have witnessed qualitative and quantitative transformations in the relations between Egypt and the UAE, after the volume of Emirati direct investments in Egypt increased to an unprecedented number of approximately 70 billion dollars, to which the UAE ranked first among the countries invested in Egypt.

In this regard, he noted the great investments of the UAE in the Ras Al -Hikma project on the northern coast of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and he explained that the volume of inter -trade between the two countries amounted to more than 4 billion dollars annually.
