Artificial intelligence addresses 10 fundamental challenges in teaching people of determination

Experts and specialists emphasized that artificial intelligence plays a vital role in addressing 10 challenges facing students with determination in the field of education, including the difficulty of accessing appropriate content, the gap in communication due to sensory disabilities, and the great diversity in educational needs, as well as lack of specialized resources and lack of independent learning opportunities.
They told «Emirates Today» that artificial intelligence contributes to enhancing interaction and participation, providing an accurate evaluation of students ’performance, and overcoming the movement of movement, while providing innovative technical tools that combine learning and empowerment comprehensively, which opens new horizons towards more comprehensive and fair education.
In detail, the reports of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) indicated that artificial intelligence techniques contribute to reducing the educational gap between students from the owners of determination and their peers, through the instant translation tools of sign language, and smart applications that transform the sign language to an audible voice and vice versa, which opens new horizons to integrate deaf and dumb students into educational classes.

He added: «With the development of the tools of obstetric intelligence, automatic learning, and audio interaction, the educational gap that separated students with disabilities and their peers on their way to fading, after these technologies provided innovative solutions that contribute to enabling audiovisual, visual, dynamic and mental disabilities to learn in a flexible, independent and specialized way.
An educational technology specialist, Dr. Samar Salman, said that artificial intelligence has played a pivotal role in converting educational content into multiple formulas that suit each category, noting that the systems of “converting the text into a voice” help students with visual disabilities to absorb the curricula easily, while the tools of “recognition of speech” contribute to enabling students with motor disabilities to write the content only using the vote, as it is used as algorithms. Learn about simplified images and texts to provide visual and readable explanations suitable for students with learning or unification disorders, with the ability of smart systems to adjust the method according to the student’s response and the speed of his understanding.
The specialist of the education of the owners of determination, Sharifa Muhammad Ali, explained that the most prominent of what artificial intelligence offers to those with determination is the designated learning, where smart systems analyze the student’s performance, determine the strengths and weaknesses, and then provide individual training content that is commensurate with his capabilities and rates of provision, and these systems can follow the student’s development, and adapt to his mood and cognitive condition, to provide support in time.
The curriculum design expert, Amal Farah, believes that artificial intelligence has canceled the concept of fixed seasons, to be replaced by the concept of adaptive learning, which is what the people of determination need exactly, where each student can advance according to his speed, and within an interactive interactive environment.
She said that despite the technical and financing challenges facing some educational institutions, the general trend in the UAE indicates the expansion of integrating artificial intelligence as a basic pillar in supporting people with determination, and investing in this technology is not only a moral commitment, but a strategic choice towards more fair and fair education, ensuring that each student, whatever his capabilities, is a real opportunity to learn, participate, and excellence.
