5 new faces in the national team list in preparation for the “World Cup supplement”

The technical staff of the UAE football team, led by Romanian coach Cosmin, announced the team’s list of the external camp in Austria, during the period from 25 to the sixth of next August, in preparation for his matches against Amman and Qatar, on October 11 and 14, in the eligibility qualified to the 2026 World Cup.

The list included 29 players: Khaled Issa, Ali Khasif, Hamad Al -Muqbali, Adly Mohamed, Eric de Menesis, Richard O’Connor, Sasha Iukovic, Kwami Kawaido, Lucas Bimanta, Aladdin Zuhair, Marcus Million, Khalifa Al Hammadi, Robin Philip, Ali Saleh, Valon Pereira, Haret Abdullah, McNe Hunt Nicolas Jimenez, Gaston Suarez, Majid Hassan, Yahya Nader, Yahya Al -Ghassani, Fabio de Lima, Litheri Silva, Caio Lucas, Bruno Oliveira, Alvaro Oliveira, and Kayo Kaneido.

The list included five new faces for the first time, namely: Robin Philip (Al -Wahda Club), Nicholas Jiminiz (Al -Wasl), Goaston Suarez (Al -Ahly Youth), Richard O’Connor (Al -Jazeera), and Eric de Menezis (Al Ain), as this five -year -old is a great addition to the team in the new stage, after they emerged well with their teams in the last period.

The new list also witnessed the return of goalkeeper Mohamed Adly and Mackenzie Hunt again, after they were absent in the last period.

It is noted that Kozmin kept most of the previous faces in the last list, with the exception of some changes, the list witnessed the exclusion of Muhammad Abdul Basit, Abdul Rahman Saleh, Abdullah Hamad, Badr Nasser, Zayed Abdullah, and Junior Nibwi, alongside Khaled Al -Dhanhani and Sultan Adel, due to their disciplinary punishment, after their exit without prior permission from the last team camp in Abu Dhabi.

Under the leadership of the Romanian coach Cosmin, the technical staff seeks to make the most of the external camp in Austria, and work to prepare the team well for the upcoming entitlement in the qualifying attaché to the World Cup.

For his part, technical analyst Khaled Obaid said that the coach of the team, Cosmin, was keen in the new list to choose the best elements, especially at the level of the players who have emerged distinctively with their clubs in the last period, pointing out that the list witnessed the addition of five new players, which gives the coach many options in the formation.

Obaid added to «Emirates Today» that the elements that have been included in the newly list are the best, both in terms of performance and technical level, especially the player Nicholas Jimenez, whose presence is a great addition, and enhances the midfield alongside Abdullah Ramadan and the rest of the elements.
