The Emirates Media Council Building gets a certificate of “human buildings”

The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure granted the Emirates Media Council building in the UAE and Dubai, a certificate of “humanity of buildings”, to become the first building in the country to obtain this advanced classification, due to its fulfillment of all the requirements of the new national standards for the “humanity of buildings”, which was developed by the ministry, as part of a pioneering transformation project that was announced earlier, to embody a model to be followed in providing a motivational and healthy work environment And sustainable.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry for Infrastructure and Transport Affairs, Eng. Hassan Mohamed Jumaa Al -Mansouri, delivered a certificate of “humanity of buildings” to the Secretary -General of the Emirates Media Council, Mohammed Saeed Al -Shehhi, in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for the Federal Infrastructure Projects Sector in the Ministry, Engineer Youssef Abdullah.

These standards are the first of its kind in the region, and it is a reference that was developed based on the best international practices in designing human -friendly buildings, as it deals with multiple aspects that focus on user health and psychological and physical comfort.

Al -Mansouri congratulated the Emirates Media Council administration on this achievement, stressing that the development of national standards for human buildings is a qualitative shift in the state’s path towards strengthening smart and sustainable infrastructure, and pointed out that the new standards lay clear foundations for creating more humane urban spaces, and support the trend towards building cities that take into account human needs healthy and psychological.

He pointed out that the ministry will work to generalize the application of these standards to future housing and infrastructure projects, calling on various entities in the government and private sectors to adopt them, and benefit from the specialized Emirati certificate.

For his part, Al -Shehhi said: “We are proud of the Emirates Media Council to be the first party in the UAE to obtain a certificate of humanity, which is the first of its kind in the region.”

He added: «This achievement reflects our commitment to the vision of our wise leadership that places man at the heart of the development process, and contributes to achieving the targets (we 2031) that puts the quality of life and sustainability at the heart of its priorities, and seeks to build a prosperous society with the highest levels of happiness, health and the sustainable environment.
