The Ministry of Education has announced the controls of school uniforms and the external appearance of students next year 2025-2026, to enhance the national identity and consolidate the values of discipline within the educational environment, as well as approved sales outlets to provide the costume approved in its various designs and sizes.

The Ministry stressed the necessity of all students to wear the school uniform according to the design approved for each academic stage, while maintaining its cleanliness and elegance during the school day. The instructions also stressed the necessity of wearing black, flat and closed school shoes, along with white socks, in a manner commensurate with the rules of discipline and commitment to school identity.

The ministry called for adhering to the sports dress during the designated classes, according to the approved academic schedule, and alerting it regularly, while allowing the cloak to wear the students of the preparatory and secondary levels optional outside the classes, provided that they are in white or black, with the “sheila” or “the college” that corresponds to the official costume.

The controls included stressing not to use cosmetics or nail polish inside the school, and adjust the length of the hair and its hairstyles in proportion to the local community values, and that its color be normal.

The ministry indicated that the continuous audit will be over the extent of adherence to these controls by the school departments, while notifying the parents in the event of any violations, in preparation for taking the necessary measures.

She emphasized that the unified school uniform will be available in a number of approved outlets, in the various emirates of the state for students in various stages of education.

Through these updates, the Ministry focuses on creating an organized and safe school environment, which enhances students’ focus and stimulates learning in a disciplined and consistent with the Emirati identity.
