المملكة: Next Friday sermon on the blessing of artificial intelligence and warning against abuse

His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, directed the owners of virtue preachers of mosques, to allocate the next Friday sermon on 1/30/1447 AH, to talk about the gratitude of God’s grace, which he mocked his servants in the field of artificial intelligence techniques, and warning against exploiting this technology in a non -right face.
The guidance included that the sermon addresses the reference to the grace of God on His servants by teaching them what they did not know, and harnessing them for what is in the heavens and the earth to use it in what benefits them, including the techniques of artificial intelligence that benefit people in their lives, inference with the Almighty saying: (And he mocked for you what is in the heavens and what is on the earth all of it), and that whoever thanked this grace to use it.

Alerting the use of artificial intelligence

The guidance also dealt with the warning against the use of artificial intelligence techniques and social media in what the law prohibited it and forbade it from lying, fading, slander and forgery, including falsifying pictures and audio and video clips, and impersonating characters, with the aim of turning the facts and spreading misleading information, prejudice to reputation and symptoms, harm to innocents, and fabrication of false fatwas on the tongues of scholars, with the remembrance of the Almighty saying: He is pronounced by saying, but he has a sergeant.)
The guidance stressed the necessity of recalling the responsibility of a Muslim in verifying and showing from the news before publishing, and not being drawn behind everything that is published in the means of modern technologies, based on the words of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: (It is enough for one to lie to speak with everything he heard).

Warning against the consequences of spreading lying

He also stressed the guidance on the warning of the consequences of spreading lying and fading on societies and individuals, citing the hadith of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: (Whoever says in a believer is not in it;
This sermon comes within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in directing the Friday platform to alert issues related to the reality of society, and to explain the legal rulings related to it, according to what was stated in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and in a way that enhances the awareness of members of society, in the direction of His Excellency Minister Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh.
